Linn County Emergency Medicine (LCEM) is a private democratic physician group providing emergency medicine services for over 20 years at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Mercy Medical Center is a 445-bed level II trauma center with 28 beds in the ED and 8 rooms in the fast track. We are also a Level 3 trauma center. Physician coverage is 42.5 hours per day and mid-level coverage is 20 hours per day.
